The Ford F150 tonneau cover can be used-and the truck driven-while the tonneau cover is in the flat, closed position or the open, upright position so tall objects can be easily transported. Unlike other tonneau covers, this model features a special set of racks that can be used with the tonneau cover in the upright position to enable you to haul more cargo than ever. The racks fit in between the two upright covers to provide a second level where you can easily stow ladders, canoes, or other long objects weighing up to 600 pounds.
The Transit Connect has a lot of space, and is equipped to carry cargo weighing up to 1,600 pounds. In addition, it has 135 cubic feet of cargo space. But consider the fueling perks as well. At 22 mpg in the city, and 25 mpg in highway driving, it is is perfect for those with a tighter gas budget. No other American vehicle offers such storage capacity and fuel efficiency. Ford has done some terrific things with the Transit Connect to set it above its competitors in both the domestic market as well as the international market.
In July of 2003 Ford, by way of their SVT Program (Special Vehicles Team), managed to set a Guinness Book Of World Records run with a factory stock Pick-up truck. The truck they used was a F-150, but not just any F-150, it was a limited production Ford SVT F-150 Lightning. The speed they recorded on that day was 147.54mph and they held it until Feb 2, 2004 when it was taken from them by one of the other big Three manufactures, but we will not mention any names at this point.
New and Used Ford Mustang Roush Chrome Wheels and Rims for sale. Roush Performance, established by former Ford engineer Jack Roush in 1988, had been known for providing performance parts, vehicles and engines. The company introduced three packages for the Mustang. Stage 1 came with 17-inch (430 mm) wheels, a lowered suspension and a side-mounted exhaust system.
